“Burj Khalifa Will No Longer Hold the Title of World’s Tallest Structure”

Up til now, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest structure in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Standing tall at 829.8m (or half a mile) surpassing Taipei 101, the previous record holder.

The Burj Khalifa claimed this title by completing 163 floors in 2010 and has held onto it for over a decade

In a groundbreaking development in architecture, the iconic Burj Khalifa will soon lose its title as the world's tallest building to the Jeddah Tower, which is currently being constructed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Guinness World Records has confirmed that Jeddah Tower is expected to surpass 1,000 meters in height and is set to take the title upon its completion.

Jeddah tower is planned to be the World’s tallest structure or building upon its completion, with a 1km height standing 180m taller than Burj khalifa.

The creator and leader of this project is Saudi Arabian prince Al-Waleed bin Talal

The tower is about one-third completed. After a five-year pause, construction on the Jeddah tower has restarted and is expected to be completed within five years, the Developer confirms in a statement
